For much time, I've been very interested in politics. My grandfather used to talk to me about it a lot since I was a kid; he is a very socialist type of person. I've been believing about what he has said to me, being very loyal to the far left movement.
When 2015 dropped, my biggest interest in American politics has grown: LGBT rights were legalized. Of course, I was very appauled by what happened then, but I've learned not to hate that. That is when I started departing from the far left, all the way to the right wing which i fully support today.
During the 2016 elections, I was still supporting the left wing, but I was not far anymore. I've hoped the best for Bernie Sanders, until I realized, he lost. I still kept supporting him, but without exposing myself too much about it.
At the end of the elections, I gave up on any hope for Bernie. I've hated Hillary for wrong, and considered the outside candidates worthless. At that point, I chose a side that I never regreted to choose; the right wing.
I've started cheering hard for Donald Trump, and I was sure he was going to win the election! I still couldn't contribute to the cause though, as I am not an U.S citizen. 
Then my dream was accomplished: Donald Trump is now president.
I've savored every moment of media outrage about it, I've had a good laugh at the crying liberals; I was so happy.
Once the new President was inaugurated, my life was complete. It went all the way up!
And this, is why I've become an Republican.
