Halloween has a celtic origin and it is practiced in the occidental world from the 19th century to this day.It is on 31st of october but it can depend on the country it is celebrated in.The name comes from the english phrase All hallows even the name for the christian fest of all halos.
One of the symbols is the jack o'lantern pumpkin.With the occasion kids dress up in witches,zombies,mummys and all kind of scary creatures and they go at every house saying ''trick or treat''.As well n other countries it is serbed with carnivals.
There are many traditional foods :Barmbrack (Irland),Caramele (UK),Carmelized apple/corn(Uk and ireland),Colcannon (Irland),all kinds of shapes and kinds of candys .
With all that being said halloween is a great event and it is very fun!
