The film takes place during the American Civil War and he makes the brave farmer Newt Knight, defying forces with the Confederation of the Southern army.Newt and drew alongside and small farmers, slaves and places. Their revolt guaranteed victory inhabitants of Jones County, Mississippi, against Confederation, and led to the creation of the Free State Jones.Newt Knight was noted as a rebellious and controversial figure, whose fame has spread beyond Răboiul Civil. Married to a former slave, and Rachel live in a mixed community, it was fiercely involved in rebuilding the South after the war.

My favorite film is "Dead poet society" . I like the film because you can discover a new world , and meet people like the teacher John Keating who can change lives just whith the words "carpe diem" . The message from the film is to : Don't be a follower . The greatest people in history accomplished what they did against the wishes of othet people . Sometimes you have to do things you don't want to do , but at the same time you sometimes have to do things you are not supposed to do . English teacher John Keating encourage his students to "make your lives extraordinary".
