During the frosty winter, I was looking out of the window and I was waiting your coming back, to see again the bright  rays of the sun illuminating the Earth, to hear the cheerful chirp of birds, to look at the bunnies which run on the green plains  with flowers and how the snow dissapears from everywhere, bringing again the nature to life.

I think of spring as to a very dear  friend,  whom I meet once a year, but even so, our frienship is very special: it cheers me up  and makes me see life in other colours.

In this magic spring, the woods have different transformations: all animals come out of their burrows, the lively deers romp from place to place and the trees in bloom delights us. From the wet soil through the grass appears the little and delicate flower, the symbol of spring: the snowdrop. Spring is my favourite season because the weather is sunnier and I  can come out to play with my  best friends for a long time, because the days are now longer. I love spring so much because in April is the Easter which is a very important celebration for everyone. People cook the tranditional food: the sponge cakes and the Easter bread; we paint the eggs and we go to the church in the Easter night. At this time, all pupils have a holiday and a special week in which we do different activities with our teachers.  I like spring, because we  finally let the thick clothes, the boots  and the caps aside. Is the season of riding bikes an rollers in the park. Anywhere you can see the butterflies which fly above the plains wih flowers.

I think spring is the best season  because everything is back to life and  people are happier!
