Surrounded by legends, Bran Castle is known as the castle of Count Dracula. In fact, he is the most famous castle through which the uncut Vlad Tepes passed.

Bran Castle is built on a rock around 1377 and it took years to keep the enemies that seemed to attack him incessantly. In fact, even the cruel Vlat Tepes came to reign in him after he had previously crushed him. However, the castle resisted as heroically to all those who passed through it.

Walking through the rooms of Bran Castle, I discovered what "luxury" meant in those times. The simple walls, the thick walls, the small windows, the painted doors, the pieces of furniture, all of them take you to the rustic world, which is more and more disappearing. Also, in Bran Castle, we find many objects of feudal art which, unfortunately, only a few remember the reign of Vlad Tepes. Most of the pieces of furniture and ceramics remind of the period when Queen Mary lived in it, and only a small part of the weapons presented are from the time of Vlat Tepes's reign.

After admiring each room individually, we also arrived in the inner courtyard of Bran Castle, which seemed to make us relive the atmosphere charged with the events of those times. Hidden from any enemy gaze, the courtyard gives you a sense that you are safe whatever might happen.

Towards the exit, we also stop at the hamlet at the foot of Bran Castle, which was probably built for those who worked on the maintenance of the castle. Looking through the window of a small house I only saw: a room with a bed and a stove. All this showed us once again, the very simple life of those times.

Cu plăcere!
