Having time for yourself to rest can restart your mind and soul, can prepare them for future unfortunate experiences. I believe that leisure time is highly inportant and should be viewed as such. You're allowing your brain to catch up on past events and properly sort them as memories. I cannot comprehend why people look at a period of rest and think of it as a waste of time. Sure in those mimutes you could cram a little more studying or cooking of cleaning or whatever you are preoccupied with, but would those actions be done as well as if you rested before? Not resting wastes you more time and effort, as your projects will be of lesser quality.
