Oh, hi, Maddy. I was at Yvonne~s house. Yvonne does a lot of photography in her spare time and I went there to see her new photographs.

Really? Were they good?

Yes, they were. They were all photos of animals. What about you, were you  at your friend`s house all night?

No, I wasn`t. She went out with her parents. So I stayed at home.

Was it boring?

No, it wasn`t. It was OK - there were some great programmes on TV!
