Hey There!!!!
A lot of changes have taken place in my life. [Not so much in my family's life though]
Three years back, I was a ninth grade student, who, on a glance, would just appear to be an ordinary guy. I was somewhat good at studies, but beyond that, I was practically nothing.
My parents carried on with their normal work. Nothing much seemed to happen in those days.
Things started changing when I made a new friend that year. My friend used to talk to me things related to Astronomy. That guy seriously got me interested in the wonderful field of Astronomy and Astrophysics!! I started self-studying various things. We together read and shared much info. We read about Stars, Galaxies, Black Holes, Standard Model of Particle Physics, kind of stuff.
However, soon that sad day came when I had to part with him. We both had to go in different ways for our education in 11th grade. But, 11th brought its own new things. We had an excellent informatics teacher. She taught so well, so well that I just fell in love with Programming. I found a new passion in coding. I started developing Programming Logic, and learnt some basic JAVA. Haven't reached an Advanced Level, but it still gives me much satisfaction.
Meanwhile I also developed a new hobby: Rubik's Cubing. I learnt it, and then it kind of just stayed with me. I learnt to solve various kinds of puzzles.
I was in 11th, when I met someone on Brainly who had a very deep impact on my perspectives. I felt like I had got new eyes into the world! I started to become aware that there are indeed a lot of good things to explore, a lot of new people to meet. I had now one thing to try: Try and reach a higher level of Openness, and become more aware of the world around me.
That is when I started my language learning journey. On a language learning site [I cannot name it. Against Brainly Rules] I started learning a completely new and foreign language. There was a Forum for discussions too. I met quite a lot of great people there. Read a Lot of Stories from People who had been around the world. Got to know quite a few things from people from diverse backgrounds.
It was as if my horizons expanded exponentially! There were quite some people who helped me in the way!
Meanwhile, my mother got into a new job as a Math teacher. I started to help her catch up with higher level Math, and also helped her with Question Papers and Stuff :)
Three years later, Now, I am a completely changed person. I have a very different outlook to life than what I had just a short time back. It feels just good that we will be always learning something new every now and then! There are just so many things to explore!!
In Three Years, I changed from a stubborn ordinary boy, into someone who now has a much broader outlook. And I can never be thankful enough for the people who have had a deep role in it.
Hope it helps
