In my opinion, practice does make perfect. I believe that, even if we are blessed with talent and skill, we are the ones that have to make full use of them and not wait for somebody else to do it instead. Also, even if we don't have talent or skills a particular area, by practising over and over again, we can absolutely get better. Playing the piano, doing Maths problems, playing football (or any kind of sport), one can get better if she/he practices. True, to achieve perfection, one also needs a bit of skill or talent or drive. You also have to like what you're doing. But having a strong will, determination and being self-reliant can also get you far. This way, you can overcome all obstacles and achieve success. You have to always strive for better. You have to always want to be better. We have to build our own destinies, and not just expect that everything will be alright. We all have the tools to succeed, we just have to use them. Over and over and over, if we have to. Reward only comes after effort. You can have great talent or potential, but if you don't put it to any use, what's the point? If you rely on yourself and persevere, in the end, you will succeed.
