Over the course of history, many changes have taken place, whether it be in fashion, industry, science or any other field of activity. Everything is bound to change, but perhaps the biggest change still taking place on a grander scale is human perception. People's mentality of the surroundings constantly changes and reevaluates itself, being stimulated all the time.

In a world in a constant evolution, whether slow or fast moving, it's hard not to question your own principles and adjust to the new reality. Still, I don't agree that traditional values are irrelevant to modern society.

First of all, traditional values refer to beliefs, moral codes and habits. These are passed down from generation to generation and adjusted to the current era, but their very essence stays the same. For example, religious beliefs aren't discarded. Most people believe in God or an entity, even though they've let go of certain practices in their religion, the main idea is that they still believe.

Second of all, no matter how far society's going to come, it will always need a guideline, a mindset to follow, like a lighthouse in the darkness. People need certain spiritual values to hold on to, it's what lifts them up at their lowest and maintains them at their highest. These will not disappear just because the times are changing.

In conclusion, I don't think traditional values are disregarded or considered irrelevant by modern society. Though they might change here and there, they will never be erased from our lives, as they are somewhat crucial to our survival.

Sper că e greșită categoria și nu e pentru un copil din clasele I-IV, că e cam complicată tema :D
