It was Christmas. We were doing what we were doing every year. We decorated the whole house, and then we decorated the Christmas tree. We put a lot of decorations on the tree. A lot of lights, colorful orbs and we even put a star into the top of the tree. It was beautiful.
My mom asked us to go with her to buy some delicius food for dinner, so me and my dad went with her. The house was empty. At the mall we bought a lot of good. We even bought some desserts too. Everything was perfect. We got into the car and went home after paying for the foods. After we arrived home we got a horrible suprise. The whole house was caught on fire. The lights on the tree caught on fire. We immediately called the firefighters. They extinguished the fire.
After this incident we never ever put lights to the Christmas tree again.

Era Crăciunul. Făceam ceea ce făceam în fiecare an. Am decorat toată casa și după, am decorat Pomul de Crăciun. Am pus multe decorațiuni pe brad. Multe lumini, globuri colorate și am pus chiar și o stea în vârful bradului. Era frumos. Mama ne-a rugat să mergem cu ea să cumpere mâncare delicioasă pentru cină, deci eu și tata am mers cu ea. Casa era goală. La Mall am cumpărat multă mâncare bună (?). Am luat chiar și deserturi. Totul era perfect. Ne-am urcat în mașină și am plecat acasă după ce am achitat mâncarea. După ce am ajuns acasă, am găsit o surpriză oribilă. Toată casa era cuprinsă în flăcări. Imediat am sunat pompierii. Ei au stins focul. După acest incident, nu am mai pus lumini pe brad niciodată.
