My last trip was in Russia. It was fantastic. I consider it one of the most exciting countries in the world. You can see there a lot of extraordinary  landscapes many historical et cultural places.
I stayed there a week and I have to recognize that I was very excited when I visited Lenin's mqusoleum in Moscow's red square , Saint Basils Cathedral, Moscow Oceanarium and the Tour of Moscow.
If you don't normally drink, it is very interesting to taste the real russian vodka. In fact, you just taste it because it '' hurts'' your throat.
I was amazed to eat there something like our traditional soup, called ''borsch''
- in fact it is a delicious red soup that you cand take in Moscow colder days. We served it with meat and herbs. Concerning the russian pancackes, I tried the '' blini'' which seems like '' les crepes'' In French- they are typically made with buckwheat for savoury fillings.
What can I say? Nothing compare  to Moscow. The metro system is one of the best I have always experienced.
Moscow is a city with beautiful arhitectural wonders but generally expensive.
