Forma negativă la  Present Continous se formează astfel: Sb (subject) + ''to be'' at present simple ,negative + Vb -ing

I ''am not'' sau '' 'm not''
You ''are not'' ,'' 're not'' sau ''aren't ''  (şi la singular şi la plural)
He/She/It ''is not /isn't''
We ''are not / aren't''
They : la fel ca la ''we''
Ştiind asta, transformăm.
-We are going abroad tomorrow.- We aren't /are not going abroad tomorrow.
-The teacher is writing on the blackboard .-The teacher isn't/is not writing on the blackboard.
-You are having breakfast.- You're not /aren't having breakfast.
-I am making the bed .- I'm not /am not making the bed.
-We are planting trees. - We're not /aren't planting trees.
-All the children are listening carefully.- Any of the children aren't /are not listening carefully. (de ce any? Pentru că ''all'' se foloseşte doar la afirmativ, la fel ca ''none'' , ''any'' folosindu-se la interogativ şi negativ.
-The wind is blowing . -The wind isn't /is not blowing.
