As I got my ticket and waited, I felt all the guilt that was crawling up my spine. "There's no going back." I thought to myself. It didn't work. The urge to go back and run was strangling me. Then I thought about what The actual milkman was doing. Probably going crazy, but that's just a thought.
All this self-speak was making time a heavy chain. Seconds felt like minutes, Minutes felt like hours. Alas, the train came.
"All aboard!" said one of the controllers.
After I entered the train , some other controller came to stamp my ticket . No big deal. All I had to do was flash my ticket, and so I did.
He stared suspiciously at me , like I was an alien or something.
"Sir , I will need to see a passport" said the guardian.
Oh no, I forgot it. And even if I would've showed it, it still wouldn't be good.
"I've... I've forgotten it."
The guardian looked at me with a sour look.
"I think I saw you on a poster somewhere." he said , giggling to himself.
"Is that so..? " I said, remembering that They've put "wanted" posters of me everywhere.
No, it can't be. I don't think he would recognise me that easily. Then it hit me. I have seen him before.
"Scudder?"
I've finally found him. I have proof I didn't kill anyone! He is the key to my freedom. All I have to do is figure out how to get him back in Germany.
