Once upon a time there lived a young boy in one of the most busiest towns in the world. He lived alone with his parents and sisters. One Sunday morning, he was sitting at his desk, trying to do his english homework.
"Argh, this is so hard, how does my teacher want me to write such a complicated story" He had to come up with a fairy tale for his homework and have it done my Monday. As his struggling mind was trying to invent and imagine anything, the noise outside was just so disturbing he couldn't focus one bit. So, in an act of anger and frustration, he took his mighty pencil, his notebook, put on a jacket and went outside to get away from everything. He kept walking and walking until he set his eyes upon a cuple of doves. They looked so lovely together, sitting on a bench and sharing a piece of bread. Suddenly, an enormous and frightening bald eagle swooped in and not only grabbed the piece of bread but also started attacking the female dove, which immediately took flight and hid in the boy's jacket. Scared, that the untamed bird would come for him, Max, the hero of our story, ran away and hid in a dark alley. After the whole commotion was over, he looked down to his injured companion. Her left wing was damaged by the eagle's sharp and fiery beak. He ran home as fast as he could and gave her to his mom. She quickly bandaged the poor little thing. As Max went back to the location of the incident, he couldn't find the other dove anywhere, but he did find am odd looking feather. It looked like one of a dove but it was so strange. It had some gold dust imbedded into it and looked royal? He grabbed it and went back home. He entered his messy room to find the female dove sitting on his desk, like she was waiting for him. "Tell me you found him!". Max jumped as he heard the bird speak. It felt like a ... fairy tale. "So?" asked the dove, irritated. "I only managed to find this" responded Max in defeat as he pulled out the magical feather. "Oh NO! I knew it was him!" Max was completely clueless. "That's not my dearest's feather, it's one of the King's.""King?!""Yeah! He's the one ruling in this part of town. He's gone mad after losing his wife a few years ago. He's been capturing partners of different birds so tgat he wouldn'tbe the only one struggling with the pain." Max's eyes began to tear a little in sympathy. "So what do we do now?" asked the boy. "I know where the palace is but I dont know if you're allowed to be there, but it will be alright, I'll shield you under my wing." Max was even more confused, how could he fit under that tiny thing?
It was getting dark but him, along with the courageous bird, went out to find The Eagle's throne in order to find all the captives and set them free. As they entered the pitch black alley wherw Max hid to protect Ellie, that was the name of the dove, they saw this enormous golden gate with the face of the eagle on it. "That surely wasn't there last time I was here!" He could see it because he had the golden feather of the king which allowed its possessor, wether human or different animal, to see it. As they walked through the shining arch, Ellie, startet growing and growing until she was the size of a horse! All the birds in this kingdom became bigger for some reason. I wonder how big the King is, thought Max to himself. Everywhere you looked, there was nobody, not a single soul. It was like they were hiding from something. Max hoped on Ellie's back and flew all the way tk the palace.
