Environmental protection The most common forms of pollution are: water pollution, soil pollution, air pollution. These basic elements of human life seem to be most affected by the irresponsible actions of human beings. Soil, as well as air and water, is an environmental factor with a particular influence on health. The soil quality depends on the formation and protection of the water sources, both of the surface and of the underground ones. Water is an environmental factor indispensable to life. It performs multiple functions in the body without water, making all of the biological reactions impossible. Lack of water or the consumption of polluted water has multiple negative consequences on man and his health Pollution is the modification of natural components by the presence of foreign components, called pollutants, as a result of human activity, and which by their nature causes the concentration in which they are found and through the time they act, harmful effects on health, create discomfort or impede the use of components of the environment essential to life. From the definition it can be clearly stated that the greatest responsibility for environmental pollution is borne by man, the pollution being the consequence of the social and economic activity his. Considered historically, environmental pollution occurred with man, but it has developed and diversified on the basis of the evolution of human societies, reaching today one of the major concerns of specialists in different fields of science and technology, states and governments, and the entire population of the earth. This is because the danger of pollution has increased and is constantly increasing, imposing urgent national and international measures in the spirit of pollution control Pollution, among other classifications, is classified as natural pollution and artificial pollution. The main natural sources of pollution are volcanic eruptions, dust storms, natural forest fires and others such as geysers or decomposition of organic substances. Volcanic eruptions generating gaseous, liquid and solid products exerting negative influences.

on atmospheric purity. Volcanic ash, along with water vapor, volcanic dust and many other gases are blown into the atmosphere, forming thick clouds that can float to distances from the place of emission. The remaining time of these suspensions in the atmosphere can reach even 1-2 years. Dust storms are also an important factor in air pollution. The lands of the steppe regions, during periods of precipitation, lose the air side of the vegetation and remain exposed to wind erosion. Continuous, long winds lift some of the particles from the ground, which are retained in the atmosphere for long periods of time. The deposition of these particles as a result of the sedimentation process or the rain-washing effect can occur at great distances to where they were raised Natural fires are an important source of smoke and ash that occur when the humidity of the climate falls naturally below the critical threshold. The phenomenon is particularly widespread, especially in the tropical area, although the degree of humidity of the forests in this area is generally not conducive to the outbreak of the fire. From the point of view of the sources of pollution, man (artificial) products are distinguished: - Industrial pollution - 20-25% - Domestic pollution - 50-60% - Pollution caused by means of transport - 20-25% Acid rainfall destroys crops kill the fish by poisoning the places and shouting the stones. Trees lose their leaves and finally die. These forests located on the Polish-Polish border seem to have been hit by the atomic bomb. They were destroyed by acid rains due to industrial pollution in former communist countries.
