3 The modern medicines benefit from tropical forests with the compounds derived from rain forest species.

4 If the rain forest are devasted, the soil will be infertile and it will incrase erosion and flooding.

5 People depend on water from the tropical forests because the tropical froest's water irrigate their crops.
