Când folosim with și by? (exercițiul cere doar când folosim with dar totuși)

By este folosit pentru a arata ceva care a fost deja facut:

He improved his English by reading novels.

Observi cu verbul are terminatia -ing

Mai este folosit in prezentare mijloacelor de transport si comunicatii ca: by plane/ bus sau by fax/phone.

With este folosit cand prezentam unelte sau parti ale corpului

Ex:I opened the Pepsi with a bottle opener.

He pushed the door with his foot.

Exceptia consta in expresia "by hand" care inseamna handmade- facut de o persoana.
