  Pentru a formula cereri in limba engleza, trebuie sa tii cont de persoana careia te adresezi. Daca este vorba despre un profesor sau o persoana mai in varsta, vei folosi formulari politicoase, de exemplu: Could you please…//Do you mind…?//Do you think you could…?//Do you think it would be possible to…?//Would it be possible for you to…?//Would there be any possibility of… . La sfarsit, vei adauga desigur, “please”. Daca este vorba de un prieten apropiat,un coleg, etc, poti formula cererea astfel: Can you… for me, please?//I’d appreciate it if you could…//Can/Could I ask you to…?//You could… couldn`t  you?
