It was a snowy day indeed.
I didn’t expect for it to snow. They had been telling us that it will snow around this area from a long time now, everyone kind of lost hope that it would snow on the Christmas day. It was the most beautiful feeling in the world to wake up on the Christmas morning and look outside the window to unexpectedly see everything covered in a white blanket.
I bet mom’s flowers are really freezing out there.
As I stayed to look at the overwhelming sight of such a beautiful landscape, I almost forgot about the Christmas presents! They must be under the Christmas tree.
I run downstairs as fast as I could trying not to injure myself, but to my surprise, there were no presents. Right, I forgot mom said she won’t buy me any presents anymore if I grow up and realize Santa Claus doesn’t exist, I accidentally told her I know.
I give one last disappointment look at the Christmas tree before making it to the first step of the stairs, and just when I’m about to speed up my pace and go to my room, I hear some weird noises so I turn around quickly, and suddenly a few presents were placed there. I smiled brightly as I looked suspiciously around the room and made my way towards them.
Santa Claus told me to keep a secret what I received, so I can’t really tell anyone about it, but one thing’s sure, every human being would enjoy this part of the winter, where every family just spend their time together while watching ‘Home Alone’, again like it’s a Christmas tradition already.
I can’t express the happiness that I feel when things are like this, everything’s just too beautiful to have something to be sad about.
