It was a hot day, hottest day in that summer, when four friends: Mike, Tom, Alicia and Barbara were staying on their apartment, complaining about the heat. Mike had the idea to go to the beach, to forget a bit about that heat. The beach was at 20 minutes from there, so they took their baggages, and they were all set to go. By the time they reached the beach, it was a perfect weather for swimming or surfing. So they jumped all in the water and they all enjoyed the coldness of the water. For that hot day, the cold water was all they wanted. But, all of a sudden, a big noise was heard, like a bomb. It was a thunder. Away, big black clouds could be seen coming really fast towards them. They freaked out and started to swim back to the shore. All the baggages were taken into the car, but right when they were prepared to go, a big wave raised up, and came right in their direction. Panicked, they all started running, and they only stopped when they knew they were safe. When they got to back, the car was upside down on the shore. Tom fell out from his foots, it was his parent's car. Mike called an ambulance, and,after , with the help of some kind people, he managed to get the car back on the wheels. Tom woke up before the ambulance arrived, and he saw the car with no big damages. Everyone sighed with relief, and they left the beach, going back home. It was a nasty experience for them. One to remember.
