I would say studying in own city is much better considering various aspects like food, emotional, physical support, parents and siblings can provide. you dnt even need much time to adjust as when u turn to new place weeks or days passes to get adjust in that environment, initially you miss your parents alot specially home made food. Studying in other city is also good option once you surround your self with ambitions and plans no one will be distracting you .....you can concentrate on yourself and your studies .... But apart from this your criteria should be ranking of university or colleges instead of places because at the end what matters is your knowledge, marks and college you have studied from ..
