Personally, I would like to visit Liverpool and Manchester.

Why these locations? Well, one reason is that there are friends and another, is that Liverpool has a lot of historic buildings, lovely gardens, parks and museums(a great example will be the Merseyside Maritime Museum). There are also art galleries, that I'd like to see: Walker Art Gallery and Tate Gallery.

Manchester is probably the first stop for people who want to visit the north part of England. It has Victorian houses, canals, Roman ruins and old warehouses, that now are trendy shops, hotels and other restaurants. Another thing that Manchester caught my eyes, is Manchester Cathedral and the historic Town Hall.
