1. Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is a detective story. Sherlock is the greatest detective of all. While he was sitting in his room, he watched the door open and he listened to the steps. Three visitors came into the house to speak to him about the case. I liked this boom because it was thrilling to read how Sherlock solved the case from just a few clues.

2. Oliver Twist is a novel by Charles Dickens, set in London in the 1830s. It't about a ten-year-old-boy who is an orphan. He has no friends and has no home to go to but he just has a penny in the pocket. He then finds some friends named Fagin and Dodger. But later, Oliver found out that his friends were bad because they weren't really his friends. I didn't like the book because the story was sad and it the places and things were old and strange.

3. Alice's Adventures in Wonderland is a story for children, written by Lewis Carroll. After Alice falls down the rabbit hole, a lot of things happen: she meets animal who can speak and has conversations with the Caterpillar and a Cheshire Cat. They all go to the Mad Hatter's tea party where they play croquet with the King and Queen of Hearts. It is called "Wonderland" because Alice sees wonderful things and also she always wonders what is going on. I like it because it was interesting.
