Everything happened too fast, but I think I can still explain what happened.
Pompeii was a pretty big city in my eyes, the architecture of the houses was amazing. Everyone was doing their chores from around their house, but at that time, the gladiators had a tournament. Evreryone was there to see them fight to the death with the swords. But by the time only a couple were still alive, the ground was shaking, it was feeling nothing like a ordinary earthquake. From afar, all the citizens were looking at the volcano that wad spilling everywhere molten lava. Shortly after, from the sky appeared a rain of lava that was burning everyone outside. Not many got out in time, as the wave of flames was taking over the city really quick.
I was one of the few that got out alive and I'm still able to tell this to the world. And a tip for the others: When you see a volcano errupting, run for your life.
