a)Keeping some animals in your house,for instance,is good for them from a point of view, They'll be fed regularly,get shots,get medical controls,etc. But from another perspective they won't have the freedom that they have in nature.

b)It is  not healthy to keep animals in small places because their muscles will atrophy because of lack of movement.

a) I think keeping animals captive is wrong. By keeping them captive, they cant do things that they would normally do in the wilderness, leading to them losing their instinct. However, it is also necessary to keep endangered animals captive because they are safe from hunters and natural dangers, diseases and predators. Keeping endangered animals captive also helps them repopulate, because its really hard for animals to find a mate in the wild because of the following reasons: 
1. The potential mate may reject them.
2. There might be no other animal of the opposite gender left out in the wild.
At least by keeping them captive, we can ensure that they will reproduce, thus ,,saving'' their species.

b) It isnt healthy to keep animals in small places because they dont have room to exercise and follow their instinct. For example, if you were to keep a lion in a small cage, the lion would end up bored, overweight and sick. It is really important for animals to get plenty of exercise and hunt/escape from predators because thats in their blood. If a domesticated wild animal that lived its entire life in a small cage were to have offspring, the offspring would lack the abilities and the basic survival tactics that are needed to survive, simply because the parent lacked them too. In short, it is wrong to keep animals in small spaces because it may lead to boredness, sickness, obesity and lack of necessary survival skill.
