Va rog mult sa.mi comentati acest text in engleza: "Every man who knows how to read has in his power to magnify himself, to multiply the ways in which he exists, to make his life full, significant and interesting." Urgeeeeenttt!!!!!

This affirmation is true, because every man who can read can learn many things about the authors who create the books. In their books, there is a lot of information and life experience which can be useful for the reader, many advices and notices about what is right and what is wrong, hence the following quote "to magnify himself", to study himself, to see his behaviour and actions. Books also contain wisdom which can help in doing the right things. 
"To multiply the ways in which he exists" means that the reader can open a door into the narrator's world, where he can see different places, different point of views, even be in the character's place. He is a witness for all the characters's actions.
"To make his life full, significant and interesting" shows that the reader can use his information from the books to have a better life, learning from mistakes and paying attention to everything important.
There are also books which can entertain the reader with jokes and funny situations.

In conclusion, I think this quote is true, because the books are a source of wisdom, life experience and even entertainment, depending on the reader's favourite genre.
