Similar to many beautiful places around the world, Cornwall has a less visible side: a downfalling economy because of it being isolated. Mining and fishing have declined in the past years and young local people seek jobs elsewhere. Even if it may seem like paradise from the outside, when tourists leave, life can become hard for the people of Cornwall.
