In Moldova, we greet each other with respect. For example, at my age, I greet a liitle child with "Hi", "Hello", or "Hey". I know that in English there aren't any fromal pronouns. In English, there is the pronoun "you", wich is used for everyone. In Romanian, we have a more formal pronoun, wich is used for someone we have respect for, or someone older than us. When talking to a person the same age as us, we also greet each othe with "Hi", "Hello", or "Hi".
We also use, as English man would say, the "Informal". When talking to someone older that us or someone we have respect for, we must greet with words like "Good morning", "Good afternoon"etc. We must use words like "Sir" or "Miss". However, when talking to eldery people like my grandmother we are allowed to use more informal words.
