I felt a general sense of dread combined with wonder at the creativity with which the story was being told.

The story is about a meteor made of a metallic-like substance that eats silicon and slowly disintegrates landing next to a farmhouse, which causes the trees to move on their own, the animals and vegetables to grow to weird sizes with abnormalities and slowly infects the people living there.
- What did you learn from this story?
I learned to stay away from glowing fountains and autonomously moving trees.
- What do you think was the message of the text?
I think the message of the text was conveying the cosmic horror of the situation these people were forced into.
