Easter is the most important holiday in the christian history (except Christmas). Jesus revived after he was killed on the cross. The ortodoxians says: Jesus revived and they answer saying "True he revived". We knock eggs by each other, red eggs because of the red blood of Jesus. In the morning we eat bread mixed with wine called "Pasti". The Easter date is variable but usually it is in April - May. Before Easter there is not allowed to eat milk, meat, cheese or eggs, only after. The most popular food ate after Easter is: Beuf Salad and Sarmale.
