Fear is what’s taking over me as I walk off this gigantic airplane for the very first time onto the soil of an unknown world. As I walk I could see the masses of people walking by greeting each other as they stroll into the main building of the airport. It seems as if I’m blinded from the constant flashes of cameras thrown by relatives as they reunite themselves with such buoyancy. I’m walking slowly only eight years old with my mother holding me by one hand really tight. I understood her reasons for doing this, and I certainly didn’t want to get lost and fall into the wrong hands. 
My mother walks towards some empty seats, and we sit down together really close. I don’t seem to recognize anybody at all, and I’m curious to explore some way some how this exotic world where I landed with such trepidation. As I’m sitting with my mother I could see different faces walking across with their luggage in hand screaming with joy to what seem to be their acquaintances. Just as I’m looking to the far corner where I’m sitting I could see in the distance a tall lady, an old man who could have been her father, and a small girl walking together toward us. They look like people I’ve seem before in pictures back at home. They slowly start to approach us, and I can see my mother getting up and smiling really big. Just watching my mother smile the way she did made me feel great warmth inside. In my mind, I was still trying to figure out who they were, but then it all became clear to me when my mother just turned around and started introducing them to me. She then looked over at me attentively, and I opened my eyes wide in wonder. She then explained to me that they are family and that we were going to stay with them during our visit to wonderland.
