Thank you so much for your letter! I was very excited and happy to hear from you. I want to apologize for not writing to you sooner, I was very busy with school and evening classes.
Right now I'm in ... grade and I'm doing good. School is pretty easy and my friends are awesome. Also I started taking swimming classes, I'm not the best but I will get better. My parents are good, just like when you left, happy as ever. (My siblings on the other side could not be any more annoying than this sometimes. But they just act like typical younger brother and sister so it's okay.-if you have siblings). My friends are good. I told ... about you and she/he asked me to tell you he/she thought about you too. He/she is very good at soccer/... . Got to be the team's captain this year and as far as I can see she/he actually enjoys it.
How about you? Is your writing class going well? I know last time you said it's a bit of a struggle. Also how are your parents? I miss them, please give them a hug for me. And how about ...? How is she/he doing? I saw on the internet he/she was up to something interesting, but I couldn't quite understand what it was about.
