Tom had been working on his laptop for three hours before he went to work. He'd been thinking of learning a new language, so he decided to go online and try to find some courses suitable for him. He's not fluent in any other language other than English, as the school he went to never offered any foreign langauge classes. The language he wants to learn is Russian, as he's been thinking of going on a vacation to Russia with his family for his 20th birthday. It was hard at first, but over the time he finally got the hang of it. He's now very motivated to keep learning, and is looking forward to coming back from work and learning some more. So far, he's only learned how to introduce himself in Russian, and how to say "My name is" in Russian. He hasn't told his family about this yet, but he's looking forward to telling them after work. He hopes to one day become fluent in Russian.
