It was Sunday, a beautiful and relaxing day. While Tom and Sammy walked into the living room, they saw their parents comfortably laying on the couch. They have been pretty stressed lately, so it seemed like a great opportunity for the two kids to surprise their mom and dad with something.
They made their way to the kitchen and started to prepare dinner. It went pretty well, the two doing every step of the recipes they found in their mother's cookery book and not making a complete mess.
Probably an hour and a half later, the kids were done. Their parents walked into the kitchen, leaded by the delicious scent that was floating in the air. Sammy and Tom really did a good job!
They sat down and enjoyed the food, talking and laughing, and being amazed by how kind and skilled the kids were.
