Bucharest as it once was, it is striking how similar recently built apartmnt blocks look to those being built now, all over the capital.
Could it be that the reason people are so reluctant to buy new apartments goes beyond a perfectly natural reluctance to pay the inflated prices being asked by develpers?Could it also be the realisation that all those sparkling new apartment blocks which look so lovely on the day of completion will soon look just as ragged and put-upon as those of the Communist era? Which also, if the photographic evidence is anything to go buy, looked lovely when they were built…$\alpha \alpha \beta \alpha \alpha$
