One day, my friends and I wanted to go trick or treating for Halloween. I was preparing my costume for tonight: I was going to be a witch!
We were planning to go in our neighborhood, 3 by 3,cause we were 6. So each 3 of us got a half of the neighborhood to go in, and then we would switch the places with the others. 2 friends of mine and I arrived to the 6th house: an old one, made of dark wood. It looked so creepy! We knock but no one answers. The door opens slowly. We look at eachother, and then we enter in the house thinking it's a prank (I mean, it's Halloween!). We were chasing eachother joking and laughing because of the "creepy" decorations in there. "We should play hide and seek!" says one of my friends. We started and I wanted to go upstairs to hide somewhere. I got there and it was so dark. As I hid in a closet, I could hear footsteps outside it. I slightly open the door for only a bit, and I see a woman staring at me. She was transparent, like, a ghost. I screamed and runned outside the closet to my friends. I told them everything, and then we runned outside scared of the ghost I just saw.
We never got to that house again.
