I think the most important quality of a person is the sincerity. I appreciate the loyal persons and I try to keep them near me. Nowadays it's very hard to find a person who truly loves you, who cares about your feelings and treats you right. It is very difficult to be honest in a world controlled by lies, to be a real friend in a society that gives importance to the material values. 
Moreover, I consider it's very important to stay near persons who can be themselves, without lying or pretending to be different. The qualities of the persons are given by their behaviour.
