Why are the robins there?

They are there to watch from the bushes and to make fun.

How many tries does Toad have?

Toad has four tries.

What is each try about?

Each try is about adding more effort than previously, and finding a new way to make the kite fly. It also is about not giving up their dream of flying the kite.

For his first try, Toad is running. The second try, he's running and waving his hands. The third, he is running, waving and jumping. And in the last try, aside from all of the previous actions, Toad is also shouting "UP KITE UP!"

What do the robins say each time Toad tries to fly his kite?

Each time Toad tries to fly his kite, the Robins are criticizing it, saying that it's not a good kite and that Toad should give up.

Good luck!
