Why is important to have o close relation with the horse you are riding?

It is important to have a close relation with the horse you are riding because in competition,you are one. You should ride correctly and not harm the horse,and it should listen to your commands. Horses are very emotional animals. If something doesn't work good or the horse gets scared,it could hurt you,or you could hurt the horse.That's why,not you should treat your horse good and pay attention to it's needs,also give him love and have a close relation with your horse.
