1. This play is about Argan, a hypochondriac Frenchman, that invents all kind of illness only to gain the attention of his family.
2. He is a selfish and a mean person that wants to be loved by all his daughters and that's the only way to know the truth.
3. A woman wanted to make fun of him and she disguised herself in a doctor.
4. This comedy play starts to be funny at the moment she invented strange remedies to cure him.
5. He becomes a little irritated because he don't trust too much in doctor's help.
6. He's right because the doctor is a fake one she only wanted to scare him and she wanted him to recognize that he's not ill.
7. The main character Argan is played by Molière himself who died at the end of the last representation of this comedy play.
