It is not acceptable. The way these guys treat calves is unbelievable. The calves are taken from their mothers when they are only two weeks old. Furthermore, the calves are put in veal crates, which are basically small dak cages with concrete floor and no staw. What is terrific about this procedure is that, the calves cannot even turn round or lie down comfortably.
