The sentence that english people say "dog is man's best friend" means that a dog means very much for a person and it gives happy feelings.
Dogs have many roles and it depends on what kind of dogs you adopt in your life. Some are cruel but protective of their owners and some are playfull and happy when their owner is with them.
Because of their importance , people that cannot spend time with their dogs but care about them buy gadgets to keep their dog entertained.
As much as you share your affection they will give you twice the feeling.
And that is how dogs are very awesome and intresting pets and animals.
