It was around 11 PM. I was feeling sleepy, so I decided to go to sleep. I usually read a little before I fall asleep, and today was no different situation. Suddenly, I heard a noise. It seemed like the noise came from outside, so I went to the window to check it out. I saw a big pointy light coming from my neighbours' window. The light was quickly moving around the house. "It's just a lantern ...Maybe the power went down or something" I said to myself. Then I realised that they were not home, they told me they are on a trip to Paris! So I called the police. They arrived faster than I expected. After they investigated the house, a policeman came to me and told me that there was a robbery in that house , and that the victim was successfully caught. No persons were harmed, and no objects were destroyed. Everything was okay. I wonder what it would have been if I didn't call the police!
