How I Learned to Ski.
Last year, me, my family and a few relatives decided, late in August, we should go skiing, perhaps it'll be fun. On 5th January, early in the morning, we arrived to our hotel. It was a tall building, covered in a white blanket. The little falling snowflakes, flying around gently, like an endless dance made me belive I was in a dream.
Our room was small. It had a big window next to the bed, in which we could see a beautiful landscape on the other side of the glass. My mum said it was totally out of a disney movie.
We got dresses nicely for our next destination. With warm clothes since outside your vision became milky. Seeing so much white might've made you dizzy. Just joking! Imagine getting dizzy of too much snow.
We walked hardly through the thick snow for about half a hour. We could spot colorful dots from a distance, running around and playing in the cream. They were kids, fighting with snowballs, making little snowmen, some were skiing. Skiing? I looked confused at the time. What was skiing for me back then? My parents were insisting, suggesting me to try it out.
An instructor was there to help me, but of course with a little cash in change. He explained every little piece of information that'd be useful, so I don't get harmed, worried, scared even. However,when I first tried it alone, I was sweating, my hands were slippery and I was shivering uncontrollably. I let myself down the hill and hoped to not enter any trees... It went decently. If I didn't slip when arriving at the bottom, it would've go even better. Regardless of the mistakes, it was a lovely experience!
