I was on vacation with my family and friends on the coast of Mexico. That morning we all went to relax at the beach. Our parents didn’t really wanted to swim,play or even chat. They mostly sunbathed and read. As for us we tried to build a sand fortes but it got destroyed. We went for a swim and brought the ball with us as well. We placed in a triangle form and started to pass it around each other. When I wanted to catch the ball I tripped on something. With my face in the water I saw a big clam and something was shining inside it. When I picked it up I understood what it was inside. It was a map tied with rope and a little pearl. I showed it to my friends and when we opened the map we found out it was a map. There were rumours that pirates ruled the seas a long time ago but this was something exciting. When we looked closer we found out it wasn’t far away and because our parents were asleep we went to find whatever the map was indicating to. My friends believed it was a treasure but I thought it was something else. We followed a map and we reached the shoreline of the gulf. We were disappointed but then I spotted something on one of the rocks nearby. It was a rope that was tied of something. We followed it and found a cave. Even though it was a short cave we found some drawings on the rock walls and there were crystals. Combined with the daylight and the turquoise water it showed the tue beauty of the nature. It was breathtaking, nothing like we have ever seen. After a while of looking at the drawings and crystals we went back. It was an amazing journey and I will never forget that day.
