From my youth, I was passioned about shipwrecks. I was eager to explore the immense oceans, finding out what was lying underneath the sea foam. As I grew older, I realised that my dream might not be possible: As there was a lot of money to spend on research, I decided to focus on my second passion instead: history. Even now, as a History professor, I still have that feeling in the tip of my tongue to go underwater, in hopes of finding my long lost dream.
