Thomas Edison
-The light bulb
he was born on the 11th of February,1847.
The invention was made in 1878,when Thomas Edison started to do serious research about the light bulb.
The invention is still used in the present,it's the revolutionary light bulb!
We use it to create light in our homes.
The light bulb was a "luxury" item in the 1850's ,but it became more and more common,and now the light bulb exists in almost every modern day home.
Fun fact: the first light bulb prototype was made in 1802,by Humphry David,but he failed many times and gave up.
