Rules are important because they can make a parent-children stronger because following some rules you don't have to fight over some chores you have to do for example bc you have a rule you do the dishes today and your mom tomorrow. I think that as a teenager we can sometimes take a rule as a bad one whent it is meant to theach us how to be able to take good care of us alone. In today's society you have to follow rules to can adjust to fashion, social media and so on. For example....
