Donald John Trump is an American politician who was the 45th President of the United States between 2017 and 2021. Before entering politics, he was a businessman and a television presenter.
Born and raised in Queens, New York, Trump studied for two years at Fordham University and received a bachelor's degree in economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He became president of his father Fred Trump's real estate business in 1971, which he renamed the Trump Organization and built and expanded its operations to renovate skyscrapers, hotels, casinos and golf courses.
